Ferrite is one kind of various ferromagnetic metal oxides. Next to the ferrite and other elements, ferrite oxide is the essential element. These magnets can be divided into “light magnetic” and “permanent magnetic” ones. Hard ferrite cores are called magnets, but their electric attitude is different. For instance, the resistance value of ferrite compared to metal is bigger. Also, ferrite shows a better magnetic behavior in high frequencies. Furthermore, the magnetic field of ferrite in high frequencies is not very strong. Nowadays, ferrite is an essential part of many electronics, e.g. receivers, sensors, medical devices, or communication devices.
